Mattias Hellberg, born 13 June 1973 in Karlstad, Sweden, is a Swedish musician, singer, songwriter, and multi‑instrumentalist known for his work across rock, blues, punk, soul, and garage genres. He first came to prominence in the 1990s with the band Nymphet Noodlers, which was produced by Ebbot from The Soundtrack of Our Lives, and later gained wider recognition through his collaborations with a wide range of artists and groups. Hellberg has performed as a session musician and band member with influential acts including The Hellacopters, Nationalteatern (as lead singer), The Solution, and as a touring guitarist with Håkan Hellström. He is also known for his duo Hederos & Hellberg, whose minimalist piano and vocal interpretations of diverse songs earned acclaim and toured internationally in the early 2000s. In addition to his collaborative work, Hellberg has released solo material and led projects such as Mattias Hellberg & The White Moose, showcasing his gritty voice and genre‑spanning songwriting. His career reflects a versatile presence in the Swedish rock and roots music scene, blending influences from blues and soul to punk and garage rock.
