About This Website

A simple way to explore TV shows and movies with ratings, reviews, and episode-level data.

What Is This?

This is a straightforward tool for finding TV shows and movies you might enjoy. You can explore popular content, see what's trending, browse ratings and reviews, and dive into detailed information about individual episodes. It's designed to help you make better decisions about what to watch next.

Why Build This?

I wanted a clean, no-nonsense way to check episode ratings before committing to a new show. Too often, great series have weak seasons or disappointing endings, and I wanted to know that upfront. This project started as a personal tool and evolved into something others might find useful too.

It's also a playground for experimenting with modern web technologies and building something practical in the process.

Features

  • Episode Ratings: See ratings for individual episodes to identify the best (and worst) moments of any series
  • Search & Discover: Find shows and movies quickly with real-time search
  • Trending & Popular: Explore what's hot right now or browse all-time favorites
  • Detailed Information: Get cast details, trailers, reviews, and more for any title
  • Fast & Responsive: Built with modern technologies for a smooth experience on any device

Where Does the Data Come From?

All TV and movie data comes from The Movie Database (TMDB), a community-driven platform with one of the most comprehensive entertainment databases available. TMDB provides ratings, reviews, cast information, images, and much more.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Open Source

This project is open source and available on GitHub. Feel free to explore the code, contribute, or use it as a reference for your own projects.
