Biography
Daniel William StrongĀ (born June 6, 1974) is an American actor, film and television writer, director, and producer. As an actor, he is best known for his roles as Jonathan LevinsonĀ inĀ Buffy the Vampire SlayerĀ and Doyle McMaster inĀ Gilmore Girls. He also wrote the screenplays forĀ Recount, the HBO adaptationĀ Game Change,Ā Lee Daniels' The Butler, and co-wrote the two-part finale ofĀ The Hunger GamesĀ film trilogy,Ā Mockingjay ā Part 1Ā andĀ Mockingjay ā Part 2. Strong also is a co-creator, executive producer, director, and writer for theĀ FoxĀ seriesĀ EmpireĀ and created, wrote and directed the award-winningĀ HuluĀ miniseriesĀ Dopesick. He has won two Emmy Awards, two Writers Guild of America Awards, a Producers Guild of America Award, and a NAACP Image Award.
