But one day, he heard news about children who had been saved by soldiers from the military. All the boys who did not remember their names were named Ivan Immortal. They are still alive today, but fate has scattered them to different corners of the country. Panas Petrovich sets out to visit each of them, hoping to recognize his son among them.
